Week ending 5-1-16

Sunday: Playing "church, nursery class, snack." That's what they call it. They get their babies all dressed up and take them to Sacrament Meeting, do talks and hymns; take them to primary and do singing time and sharing time. Then they have nursery class with snack. Each week they rotate whose turn it is to pack the snack bucket, which is their favorite assignment. I love hearing them do their little talks and sing primary songs as loud as they can. I hope they never stop playing.

Wednesday: Walking to the pageant dress rehearsal. We're doing the same pageant we did in North Carolina. The script/song writer/director moved here last year from NC and this year we moved here. To our surprise, she is just the next stake over, still within walking distance, and the pageant is only 1/4 mile away!! We couldn't believe it. Nathan and the 6 oldest kids were in it this year. Wednesday and Thursday nights were dress rehearsals. Nathan didn't make it home from work to get them there on time, so they just walked.

Friday night: the first performance!! Before the show the cast members mingle with the crowd. Here are Kylie and Kaitlyn dressed as Nephites.

Different views of the middle school auditorium so that we can remember it.

Guess who came to it?! Elder and Sister Bednar!! Unfortunately the camera wouldn't focus and the pictures came out blurry.

The view from the back (after the performance when the director was talking to the cast.)

Saturday: I opened the closet to find a mess.

Guess who it was? He innocently said he was just wiping his nose. I guess he got carried away.

Pre-pageant naps. Kaitlyn and Makenna on the top bunk (with their dolls.)
Samuel on the bottom.
Anderson in his crib. What a quiet afternoon having 4 asleep at the same time!!
Holladay cast members. I'm so glad we got this house so close to the pageant and we got to be in it. We have such fond memories of doing it in NC. It's the same exact pageant and it's beautiful.
Nathan, a red coat, with Samuel and Makenna.
I watched it from the front row with the three little kids.
Another cast photo Sat night.

When we got home we synced the laptop with the big TV so that we could watch my nephew open his mission call. He's going to Omaha Nebraska!!
