Week ending 10-4-15

Last Sunday the oldest 4 kids stayed up to look at the lunar eclipse with Nathan. They took a bunch of pictures every few minutes and ran in and out constantly, writing in their journals or grabbing a snack, then going back out to check on it. It was a very noisy, energetic night as they were really excited about it.

Kaitlyn made these notebooks for her and Makenna and took pictures of them. 

Actually, I think she got the notebooks from a birthday party, she just added pockets for pencils, erasers and a pencil sharpener. They've had a lot of fun with them.

Just cute pictures of Anderson sleeping. I love walking in my room and seeing a newborn sleeping. I wish he could stay little for a lot longer. Time goes too fast. He'll be outgrowing the bassinet soon.

Wednesday Samuel had a fever and slept on the couch all day with his cars.

Thursday we celebrated Spencer's birthday because he would be in Utah for his actual birthday. We got him candy with food stamps and my mom got him a book. Flat Stanley is from a little second cousin in Florida. He came to the party too. 

Spencer's cake turned out really good. It was a funfetti cake with white frosting, chocolate chips, sprinkles, Reeses Sticks on the long edges and O'Henry's on the short edges.

Spencer will be 12 this Wednesday! He's SO excited to receive the priesthood, pass the Sacrament, and attend Young Mens. It doesn't seem like he's really 12 and I can't wait to see him passing and coming to mutual with us. He's a really good boy and one of my best friends.

Thursday Anderson turned 1 month old. I wish time would slow down. That first month is so sweet and my big babies grow so fast. He's already 11.5 pounds and wearing 3 month clothing.

Watching General Conference Sunday. Nathan and Spencer got to go to Utah to watch it in person, but the rest of us enjoyed watching it from the couch. It was a relaxing, uplifting weekend. 

We have a picture of Thomas lying on the floor wearing the red outfit Anderson's wearing the same General Conference Sunday 8 years ago. So I was trying to take a picture of him but the other kids kept wanting to be in the picture. :)
