Week ending 3-26-17

Monday: Nathan and Anderson enjoying their FHE treat on the couch together.

Tuesday: We went to a new park and enjoyed the zipline.

Anderson loved riding this with Alexis.
Wednesday I came upstairs to my bedroom and found Thomas looking up some words in the dictionary on my laptop. It looked picturesque--a sweet boy studying with a beautiful scene outside. It didn't capture on film very well, but the huge white blossomed tree just outside the window made the whole setting perfect.
Trying to get a picture of the tree.
A view out my window.
A view out the back yard when the kids were playing after dinner.
Saturday: All of the adults in Nathan's family went out for lunch while 23 kids stayed at our house. Afterward we all hung out and played and talked and sewed.

Nathan's mom was visiting from Florida.
It looks like Spencer has surpassed her in height since she's been here last.

Saturday night: Nathan's mom got 4 tickets to the women's broadcast so I took my 3 girls. Some friends in our ward happened to get tickets too so we all took the train together. It was our first ride and was so much fun. This is when we first got on and didn't know to hold on and kept jerking at every stop. Then it got so crowded we were all shoulder to shoulder, so it was hardly necessary to hold on.

Alexis, Kylie, and Madalyn in the conference center. We had plenty of time to look around before finding our seats. It was so fun to be there! I haven't been in years and never to a women's session before.

Taking a picture of the mirror because I enjoyed seeing all 4 of us looking down at the people below.

Lexi and I in our seats. We have a picture of us back in 2013 when I was also wearing this sweater. That time we didn't get rained on, so we looked better.
Sunday: Goofing off with Grandma after church.

Nathan took these because Samuel and Anderson were so cute with their calculators.
Andy was copying everything Sam was doing. We loved watching them.

Sam lifted his up.
Then Andy lifted his up.

Week ending 3-19-17

Monday: I think Makenna took this picture after cleaning the living room by herself.
There were about 10 just like it. :)
Nathan took this of Anderson playing in the bathroom.
Tuesday: Anderson puts raspberries on his fingers after breakfast and partially sings "Five Little Monkeys jumping on the bed" like the other kids do when they put raspberries on their fingers.
We got a little kid picnic table with a gift card. I love it! I was tired of Anderson climbing on the table and counters and it's so nice to put his food here. It'll be great for outside all summer too.
Wednesday: Kaitlyn took these ones and the lens didn't open all the way. Her and Makenna's dolls were in the NICU all week. They are so fascinated by preemies and NICU that I think they should work in the NICU someday. They want our baby to be little, but judging that most of our babies are over 8 lbs, I don't think that's going to happen.

In an incubator.

Thursday morning while I was trying to get Nathan off to work we found Anderson on our bathroom counter with gobs of toothpaste on Nathan's toothbrush, his hairbrush, and Andy's pants. Not to mention the sink and mirror.

Friday: The whole morning Anderson sat with Spencer reading while Spencer did his school work in his little school nook.
Friday night the oldest 5 kids spent the night at their cousins' house. I had a great time with the little 4. We ate quesadillas in the living room, watched an old Duggar episode, and played outside until bedtime.

Kylie made s'mores bars in the shape of a clover for her half-birthday treat.

Week ending 3-12-17

Monday night for activity and treats we made edible playdough and shaped sculptures. It was fun to see what everyone created. They wanted 2 dozen pictures, so bear with me.
Kaitlyn made a snowman.

An origami swan
Everyone busy working. It was a fun night.
Samuel
Spencer and his football.
Alexis made an oboe.

And this is her bunny rabbit.
Thomas's house, person, path, and tree.
Kaitlyn decided to make a flute like Madalyn.
Madalyn's intricate flute with every single key.
And her grand piano.
Tuesday: Samuel, Kaitlyn, and Makenna wear silly crowns made out of race tracks.

They wanted me to take a picture of their matching lunch, matching shirts, and matching crowns.
Wednesday: Samuel wanted me to take a picture of him with his backpack and hat and send it to Aunt Lori.
Friday: I baby-sat two little girls while their mom was in the hospital. The 7 little kids had a fun picnic.
And then made musical instruments with the Tinker Toys.
Saturday: I took the little boys on a walk to the park. This was Anderson's first time in a swing since fall, which he doesn't remember. He thought it was super funny.
