Week ending 11-25-18

Monday: Doing a puzzle with Grandma and PeePaw (Nathan's parents) who visited for the day. They live in Florida and came out for Thanksgiving but mostly stayed with other children in Utah County.
Tuesday: The line waiting for the raw milk farm to open. Kylie was texting me when I arrived so I took this to show her what I was doing. It was crazy but everyone was so nice as we rushed in to buy them out in 5 minutes. Nobody fought or got upset. Everyone was really polite and didn't take as much as they'd gone there to get. I was impressed. I wish there were more raw milk farms. It's way better for you than pasteurized milk and there's a demand for it. I try to get enough to last 2 weeks so I don't have to make the trip out to it, but lately they've been running out so I can't get as much.
Wednesday night: Making the Thanksgiving pies with Mama (my mom.)
Andy and Sam rough housing with their cousin Shane. For Thanksgiving we had my mom from CA and my brother from Spanish Fork.

Saturday morning: First snow!
Getting out Christmas decorations.

Week ending 11-18-18

Last Sunday: Family dinner and gathering at Seth and Kira's.

Monday morning workout: pushups with a preschooler on your back.
"Two kiddos up on top"
"Three kiddos up on top"
I love, love, love that my little ones adore my big ones so much. The big kids don't get much school done, or piano practicing for that matter, but they sure have fun being fought over by the little kids.
Tuesday night: YW in Excellence. I took Talea and enjoyed seeing a slideshow of the activities Madalyn, Alexis (and Kylie) have been doing the past year. They have awesome leaders and I'm so grateful for the YW program.

Talea and her little friend, Ruth. It was so cute seeing them play with each other. Here they were slapping the table with their hands.

Meanwhile Kaitlyn, Makenna, and their friend Mary had a tea party.
Alexis took this picture to send to Kylie depicting her perfect colored apple.

Dinner with Mama!! (My mom.) We picked her up from the airport and I'm so glad she gets to stay for a couple of weeks (although I have to share her with my brother.)
Mama taking a selfie on her tablet thing.
Spencer reading princess stories at bedtime. :)
When I went to bed I found Samuel in my bed with a lot of chocolate evidence all over. He had snuck my mom's salted caramel truffles we bought to welcome her. I took these pictures to send to Kylie as I was texting her as I walked in my room.
Chocolate on my faucet and in my sink and on the floor and light switch.
The melted together clump of chocolates Madalyn found in the trash when we were trying to figure out what he had been eating.
Chocolate on my pillows and sheets and the quilt on top.

Friday: I took this to text to Kylie saying I got my snack and was ready to start working on her 8 page paper with her. We worked all afternoon and evening right up till midnight when it was due. Of course I had lots of interruptions and took care of the other kids and meals too.
I took a break and took the little kids to the park.

Saturday Kylie came home to see the play Spencer was in and Messiah that Nathan, Spencer and Madalyn were in on Sunday. Here she showed the kids how to do a dance she learned at BYU. They did it for a long time and it was so fun seeing all of the kids dancing together and soaking in Kylie time.
Talea wouldn't let Kylie put her down. It was so cute.
Kait after her hair cut.

Makenna before her hair cut.

Sunday: Someone took a picture of the good frost we had. Still no snow, but that's fine with us.
I do want rain though. I would love a rainy fall day.
