Week ending 12-31-17

A couple of pictures of the kids sleeping on Christmas Eve. Thomas, Samuel, and Anderson slept in one upstairs bedroom. Kaitlyn and Makenna slept on Kylie and Madalyn's floor. Alexis and Talea slept in their room. Only Spencer slept in the basement and had to come upstairs in the morning to gather before seeing the presents.
Samuel
I wish I could write about Christmas this year but our kids read the blog so I can't.
Presents for the little kids. The girls got dolls, a stroller and tea set to share. The boys got play doh, bath toys, and Magna Doodles.
Talea got a bouncer toy and soft doll.
Kylie, Madalyn, and Alexis
Nathan and me
Spencer and Thomas
We are now the proud owners of a baby grand!
Waking up Spencer.
Gathering in Lexi's room.
Lining up!

Lexi likes her buddy's toys

Christmas tree cinnamon roll about gone.

Alexis putting together the doll stroller for her little sisters.
Madalyn made Andy some cardboard shapes to sew with yarn. She did a great job! and he loves them.
There was a car, train, teddy bear, etc.
Kait and Kenna got dollar store fans from their older sisters.

Alexis got tiny strainers to make raspberry juice with her raspberries.

I gave these three a little appetizer set and Charleston Chews to play tea party with.
My mom got all the little kids a magformers set we found on ksl.
I got Madalyn flute earrings for her concerto night (huge 9 min solo) coming up in January. She didn't ask for anything so I had to come up with something on my own. I'm so glad she liked them!

I got Kylie a book on crocheting that she's checked out from the library continuously for the past 2 years. Now she owns her own copy to take to college.
These pictures could have their own post: Talea's First Present Experience.
All she wanted to do was eat everything. First the wrapping paper.
Then the box.
And more box.

And the tissue paper.
And more box.
And the pretty dress.

Tuesday: Four of our kids stayed down in Utah County after Christmas dinner and through Tuesday and Wednesday. They had fun hanging out with cousins playing games, watching movies, and doing hair.

Meanwhile, we had a great time at home. These 3 had an all day tea party. First they took a long bath and then got ready for an hour. Then they ate for 4 hours.
Part of that 4 hours was getting everything ready like these adorable little platters of food.
Makenna using one of the tiny forks I gave her.
Lexi using one too. They were so cute!
Their Charleston Chews and Kit Kats for dessert.
Talea being cute that night.
And tired.

Wednesday: Play Doh day.

Lexi using the computer when no chair was available.

Saturday: Kenna carrying Talea.
My brother and his family stopped by on their way back to Wyoming and I thought it was so sweet seeing JR playing Duplos with Sam and Andy.
The rest of the cousins were playing games in the basement where they had a sleepover.
