Week ending 3-11-18

Monday: Taking some 8 month old photos.

Wednesday: I bought mini peppers and Talea actually likes them! She was so funny eating one.

Friday: Thomas had Lexi take these to show my inquiring siblings and Mom what our Flash Rider looks like. It's been a fun toy and we really enjoyed the nice weather we had this week. We have a chart to record time spent outside and Thomas consistently leads the family with about 3-4 hours outside every day. Some days he plays outside 5 or 6.

Saturday: Doing an art project.
We had a campfire to say goodbye to winter and welcome to spring. It was a nice warm day and with daylight savings that night, it would be the last campfire we could do at dusk. (We do them around 5pm and in the summer it doesn't get dark till 9.) I thought this picture was funny with the snow, snowshovel, campfire, and Spencer in shorts. He built it and plopped himself in front of it with his stromboli while the rest of us were working in the kitchen. :)
Madalyn and Kaitlyn's perfect s'mores.

All the kids were good and helpful with all the work campfires are: getting everything out, helping all the little kids, spills, accidents, a marshmallow getting smeared on a jacket in one instance and then later on someone's scriptures, tears before bedtime, etc. It was still a great night!
