Week ending 3-25-18

We had a normal week with homeschooling, an honors concert (Kylie), a couple of trips to the park, and rearranging a few bedrooms. I didn't take many pictures, but it was a good week.
Thursday night I went on a walk with Makenna and Talea and we saw the first blossoms of spring. It was a beautiful night with puffy storm clouds. We miss the NC storms, so any time a storm comes here we thoroughly enjoy it.

I didn't get pictures, but it was a beautiful sunset.
I love it when clouds cover the mountains.
And when the sidewalks are clean after the rain.
Talea wiggled to get down and then enjoyed playing in the grass and on the sidewalk.

Friday: Spencer was doing a slide presentation on the TV on Joe Montana, an 80's historical figure of his choosing. I love our history presentations and seeing what event/which person the kids choose and how they choose to present it. Kylie learned about Jean Sibelius and then performed Valse Triste with Spencer on their violins. Madalyn did a humorous newspaper column, Alexis did a sock puppet show, and Kait & I did a skit about a plane crash and rescue.
Apparantly Joe Montana is boring to Andy. :) Actually, he had a fever.

Sunday: Makenna's hairdo by Kylie.
