Nothin' happenin'

You're probably assuming I haven't blogged much this winter because we've been really busy. On the contrary, we haven't done much of anything. Every day is about the same: breakfast, exercise, homeschool, play outside (now that it's nice) or upstairs, make dinner, eat, read scriptures, tuck the kids in bed, scrapbook or talk to Nathan until 11. The kids have been having a blast playing with their dolls or skating outside. They love playing and don't want to go anywhere. I've gotten lots of projects done and just trying to wrap them up in the next week or two. It's been great staying home so much this winter. We generally just go out once a week for homeschool get-togethers (park days or book clubs) and do the grocery shopping while we're out. We've all been really happy and things are going well. Nathan is still working on securing a job come July, but is also doing really well. We have been quite blessed.

This sweet little post wraps up most of what raising a family is made of - routine is nothing to apologize for of course...it is the foundation for all great things and brings security and belonging to the whole family. I can picture our days of the precious ordinary -- and though I cannot now differentiate one from the other, I get fuzzy all over thinking of them as a whole. Love you and your family.

Amen to Mona. :) And yes, we haven't chatted for quite a while. Things are still the same except for our ultra-sound, which looked great and baby is very healthy, AND we bought a new van! :) I'm sure you'll see it Wed. :) Jack about had a cow when we left the "green car" at the dealership. But now he loves it! :)
