Could it Be?

Last week we got another 3 inches of snow and 2 weeks before that we got 6 inches. This week I'm seeing this on our plants and trees:

Could it be that spring is on its way???
In talking with the natives I've learned that this is the coldest winter they remember. I haven't minded too much. We've enjoyed all the snow and I've enjoyed staying indoors and getting lots of projects done. I've been scrapbooking a lot, sewing, reading, and watching the Olympics.:) I started cross-stitching Alexis a stocking and she begs me to sew on it every chance I get. If she sees me sitting down she says, "You could sew on my stocking." While I'm standing in the bathroom waiting for her to brush her teeth she says, "You could sew on my stocking while you wait." I have to sew on it while she reads to me during school time, while we are at the park with our homeschool group, and while I wait in the doctor's office (which is never very long--I'm usually in and out in 30 minutes, but I still must be productive the whole time.:)) I've been enjoying it though and hope to finish it before the baby comes. We're all doing great, learning a lot in our homeschool, and playing at home most days. It's been a very relaxing winter.
Here are some pictures of the snow we got Valentine's Weekend when our regional stake conference was cancelled due to the large amounts of snow in the East.

Daddy is a lot of fun in the snow. We're glad he had the day off.

We're starting to get Spring here, too! So exciting! Last week, lots of leaves turned colors and this week, they're falling and being replaced by new green leaves. I love it. :) Good pictures! Madalyn built a great snowman.
