Week ending 10-02-16

This week was really busy with taking kids places. It was mostly Kylie and Madalyn who had school on Tuesday and Thursday, but go and come at different times. Kylie now has driver's training at 5:30 am. Then she has orchestra sectional at 7:15. Seminary at 8, then orchestra class, lunch and French. I pick her up at 1:00. I take Madalyn to school at 8 and she has seminary, a free period where she does her homework in the library, then band. Then she has pit orchestra after school. I pick her up at 3:30. On B days, when she doesn't have school, I still have to take her to pit orchestra from 2:30-3:30. She's in the play Mary Poppins, which performs mid November. Soon pit orchestra will be a lot longer, eventually till 9pm she says when they rehearse with the cast.

Spencer only goes to orchestra from 11:15-12:15 every other day. He rides his bike, so that takes a big burden off me.

Besides school, the evenings were really busy. Tuesday Kylie and Madalyn had young womens. Wednesday Spencer had scouts and Nathan had a missionary meeting. Thursday Thomas had a pack meeting, Madalyn was in pep band for a homecoming activity, Nathan, Kylie and Spencer had Messiah practice. I was trying to run everyone around to their activities and get the little 4 kids to bed. Friday I had a song practice with 6 year olds who are singing a number in the primary program, Madalyn had pep band for the football game, and we went on a date.

Needless to say, it was a busy week. We worked hard to catch up on school we missed when we went to California, and that felt really good. I graded everyone's work and did interviews with them to give them a chance to have one-on-one time with me and just talk. So a lot of good happened too.

Only took 4 pictures the whole week, though.

Kaitlyn, Makenna, and Samuel playing some game with buckets on their heads. They were great the whole week, not needing a lot of attention from me. And the weather was perfect--70's the whole week.
Watching General Conference on Saturday.
