Week ending 2-25-18

Last Sunday: Nathan's mom was in town for a new grandbaby's birth and got to spend the afternoon with us.
The kids practicing for a song they sang in church today. I love seeing my kids gathered around the piano.
It melts my heart.

Monday: I came into the school room and found all these kids gathered around Kylie looking at something on the laptop. I love it when all my kids are hanging out like this together laughing about something even if they were supposed to be doing their work. :)

There was this cute bird nestled in this snowy tree in our backyard. I loved watching it out the window while I did the dishes. Our yard is beautiful when it snows.

Anderson singing and playing the piano. He's got a natural talent.
Wednesday: My oldest and youngest playing together in an empty box. Precious.
Lexi and Madalyn sneaking strawberries dipped in chocolate.
Thomas finds out and wants to sneak one too but Madalyn blocks him.
They all 3 laughed and goofed off while I watched from my desk. I love homeschooling and having my kids home together much more than if they went to school.

Thursday night: Pulling up at the church for the blue and gold banquet.

Alexis had all the kids in blue for the banquet. She put gold ribbons in the little girls' hair like Kylie used to do. The oldest 3 went to special needs mutual where they serve every Thursday, but I was glad Alexis was home to help me take the rest of this crew. The dinner was delicious and we had a great night.

Friday: We do preschool reading time about the time Nathan is leaving for work in the morning so he snapped this picture on his way out.

Friday afternoon: Having a movie party while it snowed outside. We watched "Cool Runnings" in honor of the winter Olympics, which we've also had fun watching.
Saturday: Taking Talea for a walk. I usually go while she's sleeping but didn't get it in till she woke up so I had to use the back pack since the stroller won't work on the unshoveled sidewalks. She cooed and jabbered happily the whole time.
