We had a pretty normal week: homeschool, grocery shopping, seminary, lots and lots of meals, a dentist appointment, playing outside, a concert, temple trips (3 of them: Kylie went, my other 4 youth went, I went), lots of chores, lots of walks (me) and a hike, playing with family and friends, and lots of bedtimes. :) For Nathan it was lots of work till 11pm. We also prayed a lot to know what all of us should do for school next fall. Kylie wants to know when she should go on a mission and which semesters to attend, Madalyn wants to know which college to attend, Spencer wants to know how much public school to do, and the rest of us need to decide our subjects and extracurriculars.
Sunday: We drove down to Springville to visit family and stopped and got Kylie on the way.
All the cousins gathered around Talea, showering her with their love and attention.
Everyone was calling out different words for her to say. Her little voice is so cute.
Kylie!! It's always so good to see her.
All of the older cousins playing the sign game. We're so blessed to have wonderful extended family.
Uncle Dave letting the little boys jump off his couch onto a rocket launcher. They loved it.
Tuesday: Playing croquet as superheroes. The girls are using baby bath towels as their capes.
Thursday: I'm trying to do one hike a month so as it was the last day of the month, I squeezed one in instead of doing school that morning. It was beautiful and refreshing .
In the afternoon we went to a new friends' house who also has 10 children and homeschool. They had an awesome house where the attic had a foam pit and jungle gym with hammocks.
Oops. Samuel fell off just as I took this.
Pushups!
Friday: Anderson turned 3 1/2 and made some Rocky cupcakes (from Paw Patrol). I called them monster cupcakes.
Pretend sleeping on the rug. I'm not sure what this was about or who took it.
Samuel missed a friend's birthday party because he wouldn't do his chores so Kaitlyn had an all day birthday party with him including lunch, a movie, cupcakes, presents, and party favors.
Opening presents.
Kaitlyn took this of Sam and Andy sitting so cute beside Nathan as he played prelude. Unfortunately you can't see them, but oh well.
Nursery kids are so adorable. Usually Talea sleeps through it so this is one of her first Sunday's I've even attempted taking her.
