Week ending 2-24-19

Monday morning Talea woke up with blood dried all over her face.

I think her face looks like the Grinch's in a face he makes.

Someone took these pictures of the sunset.

Wednesday: The 5 little kids played this fun garbage truck game. Andy is fascinated with garbage trucks and gets lots of books and movies from the library about them. He's made the other kids interested too and they all run to the door on Fridays when we hear the garbage man coming. He honks and waves at us and it's pretty fun. Anyway, they put their toys and books in containers all around the house then "drove" around from garbage can to garbage can emptying them into their big Rubbermaid garbage truck. In the above picture Andy is emptying someone's garbage can into his truck.
Three garbage cans set out on the curb.
Kaitlyn dumps a can into her truck (the Rubbermaid container.)
Three empty cans.
Three full cans.
A can waiting by the door.
And one by the chair.
Three more cans here waiting for the garbage man.
The dump where they dump their trucks.
Thursday: Samuel fell asleep during Spencer's concert.
Talea took this selfie of us.

Spencer announcing his two pieces: Rhapsodie no. 2 op. 79 by Brahms, and Spanish Prelude by Gershwin.
Anderson picked this garbage truck chapter book to do a book report on. We all laughed because it's "The Law of the Garbage Truck: How to Respond to Those Who Dump on You and How to Stop Dumping on Others." None of us have read it, but we cracked up that it was Andy's favorite book that day and didn't want to do a report on a picture book that he's actually read. :)

I think Kaitlyn took these but I'm not sure why. Looks like we're just hanging out on Friday night. Everyone was in great moods, which I love. The kids are so helpful in helping me do scripture reading and getting little kids to bed. Andy will only let Alexis tuck him in each night and she sings him 3-4 beautiful songs.

Saturday: A huge icicle.
Tilly copying Samuel putting her hands in her pockets.
