Week ending 5-23-21 Birthday, performances, packing

Second to last week in Utah! Moving day is coming so fast.

Sunday: My birthday! After church we drove straight to a park for a birthday lunch. We had fajita and taco meat to put on chips with lettuce and tomatoes. With wholewheat chocolate cookies for dessert.
The table got hot so we moved to the blanket in the shade.
The carrot was my birthday candle. :)

We were trying to get Samuel to do a Fuller smile (from Home Alone.)
Playing in the creek afterward.
In 2 weeks we'll have our own creek to play in! I think it's much smaller, but still!

I love watching my kids play together.
They were gathering dry grass for a rug to wipe their feet on when they got out.

Monday: Grandma is visiting her kids in Utah and got to see Spencer and Alexis do their orchestra and band performance.
Tuesday: Going to the park for the last time with our friends who have 10 children.
Tilly and Ruth.

Wednesday: Selling our trampoline! Goodbye tramp! You've been so good to us.

Spencer about to run his hurdles and win first place!
You can do it!
Moments before the gun went off. I took a video and he did win first place but was disqualified because he knocked over a hurdle into someone's lane. It was a terrible disappointment as this was the state finals and he would have been state champion. He's come in first at all the meets and was so excited to win this one too.
The crowds were huge! It was super hot and sunny and 45 minutes from home but we were happy to support Spencer's last meet.

After the meet we had 1 hour to grab dinner and go to Thomas's last orchestra concert. He's playing the cello.

Thursday: Taking a break from cleaning and packing.
In the middle of the day Tilly and Ruth decided it was bedtime in the game they were playing.
Friday: Throwing out our old digital piano. We had to use our neighbor's trash can because ours was overflowing.

I sent them out to pack up the hammocks and they played in them for an hour. :)
Kaitlyn is in the hammock.
My ministering brother and his wife invited the little kids to come play with their toys so I could pack for a couple of hours and it was the best! I really needed that time. Their toys have been packed for a couple of weeks and were bored that morning.
Saturday: Thomas's advanced theater class bowing after we watched a movie of the show they filmed.
What the garage looks like this week. By next Thursday it'll be filled with everything we own and ready to pack in the Uhaul Friday morning.
Today: Last time going to the Sandy 2nd Ward. So sad. They've been an awesome ward.
After church we went to Nathan's for lunch and the kids played with Uncle Aaron.
Then we went to seminary graduation. Congratulations, Spencer!! Well done!

Then Kaitlyn and Makenna put on a dragon show for the Nelsons.
