Monday, August 10 Thomas turned eight years old! Like every child, he was excited for his birthday. And like every birthday, it was low-key. We did school, Nathan took him on a lunch date with an old gift card we had, we played in the afternoon, made the cake, had pizza for dinner, FHE, and opened presents. He got scriptures and a journal and we found a little race track at Kid to Kid for $3. Plus some money from family.
You can see the card Alexis made him complete with a paper piggy bank taped to it. She loves to make creative cards.
Thomas designed and decorated his cake all by himself. He drew Daddy baptizing him in the water.
Some random pictures Nathan took of Samuel and Thomas playing in the puddles.
I love the summer storms here.
Looks like our neighbor, Ray, got in the way.
Using two decks of church memory games to make the Salt Lake Temple.
Kaitlyn's ringlets after taking out a fancy hairdo Kylie did for her for church. It looked cuter in person.
