Week ending 9-13-15

Monday (Labor Day) September 7, 2015
Nathan and the kids were still in Florida enjoying a day at the beach. Anderson and I had the most relaxing, peaceful day at home by ourselves.

Up close he looks big, so I took this one from farther away to show how small he is.

Little shorts outfits are so cute.

Sleeping peacefully in his bassinet.

For Anderson's first FHE I thought it fitting that he watch his namesake. So we watched Elder Andersen's recent BYU education week address.

Ready for bed.

Tuesday: Nathan and the kids drove home, arriving at 11pm.
Anderson and I did the same as Monday.
Anderson cried a lot last Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. We fasted for him on Sunday not to be a colicky baby but to be the easy, good sleeper, laid-back, happy Holladay baby like all my others, lest he be the youngest. Monday he didn't cry at all and Tuesday he was all smiles.

Wednesday, Sept. 9: Everyone's home but Kylie and Madalyn who are staying in Florida for an extra week or two.
Morning time with Daddy.
Afternoon with Thomas.

Being held in the evening by Alexis.

Thursday: Alexis was holding Anderson when she came downstairs and said she's going on a bike ride with the other kids, but left Anderson upstairs. I went upstairs to check on him and this is what I found. I came down and told Nathan to go see where Anderson got left and when he saw, he laughed and took this picture. I guess Alexis wanted her doll to have some company.

All afternoon the kids played in forts. I should have taken pictures of them all. I'm not sure who took this one, but in Alexis's fort she has a little pink doll bed for Anderson and wants him to play with her as much as possible.

Samuel put on Makenna's dress.
(Makenna's fort is under the footrest of the recliner in the background.)

Saturday: Alexis dressed the little boys in matching outfits for the annual BOB (Breakfast Out Back) at our friend's house. They are an older couple from church who have been so nice to our family.

Thomas took these sunset pictures as a cold front came through. Too bad they're blurry because it was gorgeous!

Saturday night bath.

Sunday: Second time going to church. Does he look any bigger than last week? It seemed like his shirt was already getting snug.

After church the 5 younger kids (minus the baby) play "Church, nursery class, snack." They take their dolls to church, sing a lot of hymns and do talks for Sacrament Meeting, then take them to nursery. They take turns packing a snack bucket and then distributing it amongst the nursery kids. It lasts several hours and it's their favorite Sunday game.

Sunday power nap on the couch.

So are you going to call him Andy? It sounds like you call him Anderson the most. How does Samuel like him?
