We had beautiful weather this week in the 50's and 60's, sunny everyday. We played outside for recess and after school everyday. I got to go on several long walks, which I thrive on.
Monday's FHE activity was doing cartwheels, handstands, headstands, and the splits.
Makenna serving up her treats.
Tuesday: Alexis got out the Easter decorations and Samuel promptly put his basket on his head like a hat and wouldn't take it off. I took him for a walk like this and he fell asleep with it on.
Wednesday- the warmest day of the week: Tom's pogostick he got for Christmas.
His record is 2000+ jumps without stopping. Alexis is working on beating it.

Thursday: Lunch recess.
Spencer, Tom, and Lexi put up the trampoline the day before. Now our backyard is complete. We're so blessed to have a sport court, play gym, trampoline, play house, and big concrete area for bikes and pogo sticking. All on a dead end street with no cars going by.
Madalyn practicing some photography skills with these closeups.
Anderson eating peas for the first time. Before I turned over the spoon to Alexis I called her over and enthusiastically reported what a good eater he was to eat peas with a smile on his face. She said, "I'm glad he's a good eater, just as long as he doesn't like ketchup or salsa." She doesn't like any condiments whatsoever and hopes her buddy won't either.
Samuel falling asleep at the table at 5:23pm before he even got any soup in his bowl.
I took him up to bed and he slept the whole night through.
Friday: After falling asleep in the stroller Spencer brought him in and told him to go potty and walked away. Later I asked Spencer if he ever brought Sam in and he said he left him in the bathroom. I went in and this is what I found.
Thomas took this one.
Anderson after scripture reading.
I realized we didn't have any pictures of him sitting up. He turned 6 months old on Tuesday and is sitting well, rolling all over the place, and getting up on all fours, and scooting. I'm sooo excited he's becoming mobile. I can't wait until he can crawl and pull up on things. That's my favorite stage.
Saturday: Madalyn talks with Anderson as we get ready for our BYU basketball party and start our fast. Madalyn made chicken salsa bean burritos, mozzerella sticks, and chicken nuggets. Thomas made peanut butter cup brownies.
Lexi licks the bowl from the scotcheroos I made.
Kait and Kenna hang out waiting to start. Spencer made the basketball cheese dip.
Spencer playing the piano as we waited for the rest of the food to be finished. 1:47pm. Game time 2:00! Spencer mistakenly told us Santa Clara was really good, like #6 in the nation. So we were worried and then were thrilled to hold the lead the whole game and win. Afterward he saw his error where Santa Clara was #6 in the conference but BYU was #3, so we shouldn't have been so worried. Oh well, it was still fun.
Sunday: We got a neat thunderstorm with hail that the kids ran out and played in just like in NC.

It looks like your home has all of the amenities! A sport court all to yourselves?! Wow! I am so glad to see the children so happy and adjusting well. Miss you all!
