Week ending 7-7-19

Last Sunday: Andy and Samuel slept in the car the whole night as that was their hotel in the trip game they've been playing for a couple of weeks.
Monday: Eating dinner, not sure why this picture was taken:)
I do love watching my children all eat together and chat about their day. It's the best!
Talea playing with her stacking dolls.
Tuesday: I came down for breakfast and these kids were singing songs from Tangled to practice for a play they're doing with the neighbors.
Playing human Candy Land with our friends the Harris' who were visiting from Boise.
Alexis holding Tilly and the Harris' baby.
My 10 children plus the Harris' 5!
Me and Cheryl. Both of our husbands did residencies in Greenville.
Tuesday night: Our neighborhood 4th of July party. We never miss it!

Thursday: Riding bikes while I set up the ward pancake breakfast
The lighting is terrible but the decorations looked fantastic. I didn't plan any of it, just helped put it up.

Riding in the little bike parade.
Later that afternoon we got a quick thunderstorm and while the 4 little kids were napping and the middle 2 were at the neighbors, the 4 biggest ones ran out and played in it. :)

It was funny watching these big kids go crazy with the excitement of rain.
Three little kids were still sleeping during dinner so the rest of us enjoyed a quiet dinner without them. We had hot dogs and hamburgers after a really relaxing, productive afternoon. (I worked on picking school curriculum for fall and got so much done.)
Makenna, Sam and Andy napping downstairs.
After watching a movie we went to the canyon rim to watch the fireworks over the valley. Nathan was out of town for a little while and Spencer decided to stay home and practice his concerto, but the rest of us went and had a wonderful time.
It was beautiful with the setting sun and fireworks popping up all over the city. We all sat and watched and chatted and ate popcorn. It was awesome!
Friday: In the afternoon the 7 oldest kids went to visit cousins in Springville and stay the night so I only had the 3 little ones. I made them sandwiches and fruit for dinner and they were so cute eating and talking together.
Afterward we played outside for awhile before watching some Bible videos for scripture reading and then reading lots of books before bedtime. It was a super relaxing and fun evening, just me and 3 little kids!

Saturday morning: We ate breakfast outside and watched the ants eat our crumbs. We also watched the garbage man come and he jumped out to come talk to us for a bit. He said we're his favorite family and he's going to miss us as he goes to Navuoo and Palmyra for 2 weeks.
Feeding the ants a toast crumb.
Next we rode bikes to the park and watched the mailman fill the mailboxes and played farmer for awhile.

Then we played cars on a ramp.
That night Aunt Katie brought Tilly a dress she made in her sewing class. It's adorable!!
Sunday: This morning the kids woke up to Aunt Misty and Aunt Lori at our house! They were driving through from Nashville to Boise and stopped and spent the morning with us. I wish we could have taken pictures of us in our patriotic church clothes, but oh well.

Checking out Lori's little Uhaul.
