Week ending 11-15-20

This was a really laid-back week. It was cold and snowy so we stayed home every day and got a lot of school done. Extra-curricular activities were cancelled because of an uptick in COVID so everyone was home all afternoon and evening which made for fun, chatty dinners and cozy, reading evenings.

Monday: The sun coming out after a snowstorm.

Wednesday: He looked handsome with his hair combed doing his school quietly and diligently.
The Thanksgiving decorations we made and sent to Madalyn.
We learned about camels and how they can plug their noses without using their hands so we gave it a try.

It was super fun and made us all laugh.
First Andy had to use his hands but then a couple days later he figured out how to do it without.

Thursday: We picked up school lunches and went to the library but had 30 minutes to kill till the library opened so we sat in the warm car and ate.
But Tilly wanted to eat outside so she sat in front of the car eating and singing all by herself. I wonder what the other people waiting in their cars thought.
Reading party when we got home!

Friday: I love that the boys have Fridays off so they're home doing school with us. Haven't convinced them to join us at the crowded table, but I enjoy checking on them in their room and seeing them doing schoolwork.
