Week ending 11-8-20

Last Sunday: Having a Halloween candy party after breaking our fast. First they slide down the stairs on that mattress then they dump out bags and make trades. Sad that only 7 kids went trick-or-treating this year.
Monday: With a forecast of 5 straight days of sunny 70's we took advantage and went to the park every day.
This is the "football park" where Spencer and Thomas used to ride their bikes and toss a footbal there.
Watching a neighbor get a new driveway.

Making brownies with Alexis.
Wednesday: I got to have a fun picnic with a good friend, Kristin, for her 40th birthday.
Hanging out at the park while 3 girls have violin lessons across the street.
Talea wanted me to take pictures of her in many poses. :)

Wiped out and falling asleep during scripture reading at 6pm. I put her in bed and the next ones went to bed at 7:30 and it was a nice early night. I love turning our clocks back b/c we all go to bed earlier and get up earlier.
Thursday: I was trying to do school but the kids just wanted to draw. This is Talea's picture and it says, "Kywie 'pashing in the puddles." I think she's a fantastic artist for only 3 years old. I couldn't draw this well until I was 6.
This one is an airplane with some of us in it.
This is Andy's picture of an airplane, getting excited for Brady and Tami to come visit us for Thanksgiving.
Another fun park day and picnic before picking up Alexis from her medical terminology class.
Too bad I cut off Sam's head.
Makenna on the big baseball glove.
Makenna and Kaitlyn
Talea

Talea on the zipline.
Andy took a picture of me going back and forth on the zipline.

Cooking sprouted wheat quesadillas over a campfire.

Friday: Spencer cleaning out the dryer vent. We did a bunch of yard work while it was still 70 degrees in preparation for a week of 30's, snow, and winter. Goodbye fall!
Alexis raking.
Thomas trimming the annoying tree roots that sprout trees or whatever they are. He's been hacking them over and over all summer.

Samuel putting away all the wood they had out for a mini golf course they'd made the past few weeks.
Anderson is a great mower!
Talea played in leaves. :)

After all the hard work we went to SLC and met up with good friends, the Webbers, who live in Peru but are here during COVID. We've been friends for 18 years!
First we went to the store to buy dinner.
Then we went to the park to eat it.
Kade spilled his buffalo ranch all over him.

Saturday: Visiting the Thanksgiving turkeys at the raw milk farm.

Finally a storm coming!! We've had weeks of sunny, warm, blue skies weather.
It was fun having a thunderstorm even though we only got a few drops.
Today we got some snow, though!
We need the moisture badly and it makes a Sunday afternoon super snuggly and exciting.

Alexis and Thomas jumping up and down saying they're excited for Christmas. :)

That picture of talea and Andy in the leaves is so cute! You should frame it.
