Week ending 12-20-20

We had a lot of grey, inversion-y days, a little bit of snow, and some fussy kids all week. I love posting pictures though because it reminds me of the good times we had. It wasn't all fussiness. :)
Last Sunday: Hanging out on a Sunday afternoon doing fun church sticker books a friend gave us.

Randomly singing a song together.
At 8pm we got a knock on our door and had some Holladay carolers!!
I think they're the only carolers we've had in Utah.
They also left us 12 packages! One to open each day before Christmas.
What a fun surprise! They are too good to us.
Kira told us to go get Talea out of bed so Kaitlyn did.
The stash of presents after we brought them in.
Opening the first box. The letter said Talea needed to open it.
She got a beautiful handmade quilt!
Monday: Excited about the packages! She keeps picking them up and talking about them.
Kait's excited too.
Today's is for Anderson to open.

He loves his red quilt.
Tuesday: Alexis' turn to open! She got a beautiful blue quilt with birds and butterflies and flowers on it.
Having a party while we watch Spencer's orchestra concert and Alexis's band concert on live stream.

Wednesday: Samuel randomly organized all the kitchen drawers. I love that he's into organizing!

Samuel and Anderson made a fort with their new quilts from Kira and slept in it.
(Samuel opened his today.)
Thursday: Kaitlyn's turn!

Friday: Playing with Ruth
Madalyn came home from BYU-I! I love the fun atmosphere when kids come home from college.
Madalyn's friend, Therese, brought her and the little kids took to her right away as is evident by Tilly and Andy hanging on her.

Madalyn tucking Andy in.
Makenna going off with Madalyn, Thomas, and Samuel to see "A Christmas Carol" at the Draper Theater.
Hanging out with Madalyn on a Saturday afternoon.

The nativity pixel art blocks the Holladays made and are included with a scripture in the quilt package.
Makenna's quilt!

We love the tags she sewed into them.

Practicing for their musical number tomorrow.
Sunday: Practicing at the church before Sacrament Meeting started.
They played "Still, Still, Still." Spencer had the piano music and wrote parts for cello, flute, and oboe. I was so impressed and it's always a dream come true when my children perform in church.
The 4 little kids waiting for church to begin.
Hanging out with Sister Nelson after church. The little kids always have to go up to the organ and say hi to her each Sunday.
A screenshot of zoom before the baptism of Shane Hofmann started performed by my brother Brady.
All the kids hanging out watching zoom.
Oops! Too blurry.
The treats we've been collecting from neighbors or making ourselves. We put them out for a fun treat the Sunday before Christmas.
