Thomas is my easiest child. He is very quiet, easily entertains himself, and rarely needs anything. He loves trains and cars and is content to play all day. I usually feel guilty that I haven't spent much time with him because he doesn't ask for my attention like the other children do, but I get the sense that he likes playing by himself or with his siblings and doesn't feel slighted. We've always called him our "Joy Boy" because he's always happy and never complains.
One night the 3 older kids slept at Grandma's with their cousins and I took the younger 4 to Aunt Sara's where we were sleeping. So that they wouldn't feel left out we had a little party of our own. We played games and ate chocolate animal crackers with Whole Hearts cereal. It was a lot of fun.

With around 25 people eating dinner at Grandma's every night, Thomas elected to take his plate out on the trampoline and Spencer usually joined him.
