Kylie's Six Weeks in the CTM

Sister Holladay has been out for 7 weeks now and is doing well. Here are the pictures from the nearly 6 weeks she was in the CTM.
First view of Brazil!
It's her first time ever flying overseas or to another country.
She left SLC January 14, flew to Dallas that night, then had an overnight flight to Sao Paulo, landing in the morning of January 15.
This was on the way to the CTM from the airport. She loves all the trees there!

She was excited to see a Sam's Club. :)

The street the CTM is on.
The little green courtyard at the CTM.
The windows are open so she can hear people in different classrooms singing or laughing. Sometimes there is an elder in a classroom across from hers who plays "rock, paper, scissors" out the window with Sister Linde in her classroom. She says moments like those make being at the CTM more fun.
The itty bitty track. I was surprised at how small it is!
Her view from her room.
Her classroom.
Her district at the Sao Paulo Temple January 21.
She says the temple grounds are gorgeous!
They were able to go to either the Sao Paulo or Campinas Temple every Thursday.
Sister Holladay with her CTM companion, Sister Rucker at the visitor center.
The Campinas Brazil Temple January 29.

View from the temple.
Minutes later it started to pour.
Her district and Irmao Nascimento, their teacher.
Sister Holladay happy in the rain! It's one of her favorite things about Brazil.
The bus ride home. She loved how green everything is just like North Carolina.
I wish I could go see it!

Her CTM companion enjoying the cookie shop, Mr. Cheney's, across from the CTM.
January 31
At the Campinas Temple February 12.
She says every p-day they get up and leave at 6 for either the Sao Paulo (30-45 minutes) or Campinas Temple (2 hours). They go to the distribution center and then come back to do an hour of email time. Then they go out to eat at a place called Firewood and get a cookie at Mr. Cheney's. She says all the buildings are open and don't have walls so it's really fun. She loves hanging out with her district.
Visitor Center February 19.
The guy on the far right is Elder Geddes who reminds Kylie of her cousin, Chase. E.Geddes has a farm in Idaho with a llama and cows. He takes girls on dates muskrat skinning. He and his cousins made a giant slingshot to shoot potatoes at each other. She said he and his stories make the CTM really fun.
Here is a farewell picture for the group leaving the CTM Tuesday, Feb 25.
And their farewell devotional. Kylie is 3rd from the right in the front row.
I saw these on the CTM facebook page.
Saying good-bye to Sister Wilson. Too bad they're not in the same mission. She's from Wyoming and really connected with Kylie. She even hooked Kylie up to marry her brother. :)

Thanks for putting all her comments with the pictures. It's nice to see it all laid out like that instead of trying to put it together myself. :)
